Already a winner in Brisbane, Memphis and Miami this year, Belarusian Victoria Azarenka continued her rise up the WTA rankings ahead of Wimbledon.
Her Miami victory over then world number one Serena Williams in the final caught the eye and proved the 19-year-old has the temperament to mix it with the best.
Despite her success on the hardcourts, Azarenka is still a relative novice on grass and surviving into the second week at Wimbledon would be seen as a very respectable achievement.
That said, few will want to be pitted against the Minsk youngster and her odds suggest the bookies are wary of her ability.
